Public Education

Taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors committed to the highest standards of the U.S. Coast Guard, our courses provide instruction to boaters at all levels, from basic to advanced.

Our flotilla routinely offers the Boating Skills and Seamanship (BS&S) course in the Spring and Fall of each year. This is a comprehensive course designed for both the experienced and the novice boater.

We're also teaching the About Boating Safety course periodically. This is a one day seminar intended for beginning boaters. A Wisconsin boating safety certification will be provided to the student upon successful completion of this course.

The 2009 Education Course Schedule will be posted to this site by January 15th, 2008. For questions on education courses contact our Flotilla Staff Officer for Education

For a list of other classes currently available across the country (including our area), please visit the 9th Western Region District Education site or the national U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Classes page, or the Boat/US Foundation Course-line Online site.
